Our core technologies are based on XML and XHTML. All of our content is stored as XML - so you reap the benefits and flexibility of XML. XML is about making it easier to write software that accesses information, by giving structure to data. With XML there is a standardized way to get the information no matter how the data is structured. XHTML is HTML written as a schema - effectively, it is well formed HTML that is easily extensible.  Our choice of these two complementary technologies gives us the flexibility to respond quickly to the rapidly changing loan product environment, while preserving our ability to support new output formats, and adds the ability to leverage the extensive data set required to produce loan product documentation.

Multi-Purpose Output

DesertDocs provides a single solution that can provide multiple output for paper, paperless and e-Mortgages.  DesertDocs provides a bi-directional XML solution with an XHTML base format that supports output of PDFs

for printed and paperless mortgages and SMART Doc category 1 forms for

e-Mortgages. 

Lenders gain immediate benefit because most doc drawers and doc closers already have Adobe viewer  and find it easier to view and print  PDF packages.  This solution allows lenders to make current document assembly processes more efficient   and cost-effective, while concurrently positioning them for transition to e-Mortgages.
